Rotman MBA Students Win Kellogg Business Design Challenge

Toron­to, ON – A team of MBA stu­dents from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Toronto’s Rot­man School of Man­age­ment have won the Kel­logg Busi­ness Design Chal­lenge host­ed by the Kel­logg School of Management’s Inno­va­tion and Design Asso­ci­a­tion.

The long-run­ning com­pe­ti­tion, which invites stu­dents to apply design think­ing to a real-world busi­ness chal­lenge, was opened up to teams out­side the Kel­logg School for the first time this year.

The Rot­man team, Lorem Ipsum, con­sist­ing of Full Time MBA stu­dents Amarpreet Kaur, MBA’19; Fifile Nguyen, MBA’19, Anna Chua, MBA’19 and Michael Vasilev, MBA’19, defeat­ed 27 oth­er teams to win. The case for the com­pe­ti­tion dealt with P&G’s Pam­pers line and their pre- and neona­tal health edu­ca­tion pro­gram.

Ear­li­er this year a team from the Kel­logg School of Management’s MMM (MBA and Mas­ter of Sci­ence in Design Inno­va­tion) pro­gram won the Rot­man Busi­ness Design Chal­lenge host­ed at the Rot­man School in April.
