RBC Conference to explore breakthroughs in homecare policy & practice

TORONTO, ON – The Uni­ver­si­ty of Toron­to is host­ing a half-day con­fer­ence to explore cur­rent issues and break­throughs in home­care pol­i­cy and prac­tice in Cana­da. Lead­ing experts from Toron­to and Mon­tre­al will address inte­grat­ed, home-based care for elder­ly per­sons. Dr. Nowaczyn­s­ki will high­light the issues via his award win­ning pho­tographs. An inno­v­a­tive home care ser­vice team using mobile tech­nol­o­gy will be pre­sent­ed and cur­rent issues in home­care in Que­bec will be exam­ined. The con­fer­ence will close by con­sid­er­ing the role that media play in defin­ing social issues.
